WHO: I was born in Louisville, KY, in the decade that introduced avocado green and some of the greatest movies ever made.

WHAT: I enjoy writing human interest stories, arts reviews, low-tech health articles, fiction, bad poetry, and the occasional dirty limerick. I aim for funny and/or moving, smart, educational, and concise.

WHERE: I’ve lived in the South most of my life–Kentucky, Florida, Mississippi–which messed up my chakras. Now I live in the Pacific Northwest, where I freed my chi. Om.

WHEN: I’ve been writing ever since I defaced my mom’s jewelry box with indelible ink and gibberish.

WHY: Because I have to.
